REGIO is the database containing harmonized data on the regions in Europe.

These data cover the main aspects of economic and social life of the European Union at the regional level.

REGIO is divided in 8 fields : demography, economic accounts, unemployment, labor force survey, environment statistics, transport, agriculture and science and technology.

Regions are classified according to NUTS classification (in French acronym for Territorial statistical units nomenclature).

In addition, the Urban Audit gives numerous detailed indicators on big European cities. For instance, one can obtain for a city or a quarter the population by age and sex, the number of doctors, traffic accidents, and average time of journey to work.
